Where to meet your driver at Newark Liberty: pickup points for Terminals A, B and C

Updated

Newark sits on the New Jersey side and each terminal collects passengers somewhere different — Terminal C on Floor 3 of its garage rather than at the kerb.

The pattern matches the other New York airports: bags first, then the pickup area, then contact your driver.

What to do after landing

Collect your bags, clear the terminal, then follow the airport's 'Ride App Pick Up' signs to the pickup area and wait at the numbered spot on your booking or the one your driver gives you.

Once you are there, contact your driver and say which numbered spot you are at. The car is usually with you in about ten minutes.

The airport itself advises collecting your bags before calling your ride (source: newarkairport.com), which is exactly our pattern: pickup area first, then contact the driver.

Terminal A

The pickup area is on the arrivals level, directly across the street from the terminal. After baggage claim, exit arrivals, follow the 'Ride App Pick Up' signs across the street to the waiting area, wait at the spot your driver gives you, and contact the driver. The car arrives in about ten minutes. Source: newarkairport.com.

Terminal B

The pickup area is on the arrivals level, on the terminal frontage. After baggage claim, exit arrivals, follow the 'Ride App Pick Up' signs to the frontage pickup area, wait at the spot your driver gives you, and contact the driver. The car arrives in about ten minutes. Source: newarkairport.com.

Terminal C

The pickup area is currently on Floor 3 of the Terminal C Garage. How to find and contact your driver

Once you are at the pickup area, contact your driver using the details on your booking and say which numbered spot you are at. The driver will tell you the vehicle type, colour and the last digits of the plate.

Check the plate before you get in. The driver loads the bags.

You can contact the driver in Chinese. Chinese-speaking chauffeurs are available but not guaranteed on every booking, which is why the trip details are written into the booking in advance rather than left to a conversation at the kerb.

Flight delays, free waiting and overtime

We wait. With a flight number on the booking, the driver is scheduled against the actual landing time — no rebooking, no change fee.

Airport pickups include 90 minutes of free waiting, counted from the moment the aircraft lands, not from the time you originally booked. Immigration queues, baggage reclaim and customs all happen inside that window.

Beyond the free allowance it is $1 per minute, collected in person by the driver and never added to the online bill.

This depends on us being able to reach you. If the free waiting runs out and there is still no contact, the driver may leave and the trip counts as a no-show.

Where to go from Newark: the miles across the river

EWR to Manhattan takes about 40–70 minutes depending on traffic and the crossing. Reaching Manhattan means a tunnel or a bridge — the slowest few miles at peak hours — and those tolls are already inside your quoted price.

Jersey City, downtown Newark and the towns of northern New Jersey are regular runs, and we cover EWR to Queens and Long Island too. The price is calculated on the actual route when you book, with the final amount shown before you pay.
